The Strelitzia nicolai, also known as the bird of paradise plant, is a large green houseplant that loves sunlight. With its beautiful large green leaves it perfectly fills the empty corner of a room. Originally from South Africa, the Strelitzia can grow up to 10 meters high in full sun! This houseplant is also known for its beautiful flowers that grow in the wild.
The flowers are somewhat reminiscent of birds of paradise, which has given the plant the name 'bird of paradise plant' or 'bird of paradise'!
