The leaves are bright green with sometimes a yellowish tint, giving the plant a tropical appearance. This plant grows in a compact clump and can become full and lush with the right care.
Location: The Areca Lutescens likes a lot of indirect sunlight, but can also survive in partial shade. Place the plant near a north or east-facing window for best results.
Watering needs: This plant needs regular watering. Keep the soil slightly moist, but make sure the roots are not standing in water. Watering when the top layer of soil feels dry is ideal.
