This beautiful tropical plant is also called the European dwarf palm. This is the only palm species that originally comes from Europe. It grows mainly around the Mediterranean Sea and functions well as an indoor plant as well as an outdoor plant. This palm can withstand frost well. The Chamaerops Humilis originally grows in areas where it is a bit warmer. This means it can withstand bright sunlight well and therefore prefers a spot in full sun.
