Appearance of the plant: The Calathea Bluegrass is a striking houseplant with broad, dark green leaves that display delicate light green stripes. The underside of the leaves has a deep purple hue, which makes for a beautiful color contrast. The leaves have a wavy edge and a silky texture, which gives the plant a luxurious appearance. The Calathea rarely flowers indoors, but the leaves are the main attraction.
Location: This plant does best in a spot with indirect light or light shade. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, so place the Calathea in a spot where the light is filtered. Perfect for indoors or in the office.
Water requirements: Calathea Bluegrass likes an evenly moist soil. Water when the top layer of soil feels dry, but avoid over-wetting. Preferably use rainwater or filtered water to protect the sensitive roots.
