Description
Appearance of the plant: Lonicera periclymenum, also known as wild honeysuckle, has beautiful, fragrant flowers that appear in clusters. The flowers often have a combination of white, cream and pink tones and change color as they age. The leaves are green, oval-shaped and can take on a beautiful golden color in the fall. The plant grows as a climber with long, winding branches.
Location: This plant does best in a sunny to partially shaded location. It can be placed both indoors and outdoors, but prefers an outdoor location where it gets plenty of sunlight. In an indoor environment, the plant needs a lot of light to grow well.
Water requirements: Lonicera periclymenum requires a moderate amount of water. Keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid allowing the roots to sit in standing water. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings.
