'Vitis Johanniter' is a white grape that is less susceptible to fungal diseases. It is a cross between the Riesling and resistant grape varieties. Riesling-like wine can be made from this grape, full of fruit and muscat-like. It is a climbing plant that can grow several meters high. You can train it into all kinds of shapes yourself and keep it very compact by pruning well. You can train the grape well along a pergola or with tension wires on the wall. The grape first produces inconspicuous bunches of flowers in the period July-August, after which the white grape bunches will form. The fruits are white-green in color, juicy with a sweet taste. You can eat them directly or use them for jam, juice or making wine.
